feat. @omgadrian

Use the teleprompter feature within Edits to make talking to the camera easier and more professional, eliminating the need to memorize scripts.

Open the Edits app camera, tap the script icon, and paste or write your script to use the teleprompter. Pro tip: you can plan and write out your script on a sticky within the Ideas tab and send it to the teleprompter.

The teleprompter scrolls your script on screen as you record, just like a professional setup.

You can adjust the font size and scrolling speed to match your natural speaking pace.

The teleprompter window can be repositioned so it doesn’t block your camera framing.

I’m gonna let you in on how I perfected talking to the camera. The secret is, I haven’t.

Because now, with Edits, it’s easier than ever with the teleprompter tool.

I used to spend hours perfecting my delivery, and memorizing line after line so that I could deliver the perfect take.

But with this teleprompter tool, you don’t have to worry about memorizing anything. Just open up the camera within the Edits app right here, tap the script icon on the left-hand side of your screen, just paste your script or draft up a new one on the spot.

This teleprompter will pop up on your screen and will flow along as you record just like a professional teleprompter. And what's even cooler is that you can adjust the font size as well as the speed to match your natural talking pace. You can even position it around so it doesn't block your framing.

Fun fact, here’s a secret, I'm using a teleprompter right now.

No more going between your Notes app to read your lines back to recording on your camera, it’s all happening right here at the same time.

Take care and happy creating y’all!
